Cloud Dough

Cloud Dough

One of our favorite mediums to play in is cloud dough. It just smells so good!!

Lately we have been making cakes and cupcakes and ice cream sundaes. So I had some half used frosting bottles from a cake we made and we decided to try adding it in! The result: pink cloud dough. I have heard you can color cloud dough with side walk chalk but have never tried it. A quick search turned up this website from Inner Child. But our frosting worked great also. Looks like pink sprinkles once its all mixed it!!

Cloud Dough Recipe:
8 c flour
1 c baby oil

MIX
SO SIMPLE RIGHT!!

THEY ARE REALLY ENJOYING THERE SWINGS, EXCUSE THE MESSY YARD.... We had some trees fall and my husband decided to play lumberjack for a few days cleaning them up! And we had some MUCH appreciated help from his dad and brother!

THANKS!!

A SWING OF HER VERY OWN!

Anyways... Cloud Dough keeps great, just store in a plastic bag, a jar, anything really as long as you don't get it wet (sort of turns into paper mache...)

And so we play regularly with it!

This is the day we added the frosting....

"Feels Like Worms" haha Quotes like that melt my heart! How much they can learn and absorb in a day is AMAZING!!

  3. This looks so much fun - we did cloud dough in the winter - although it was snow dough for us LOL. I love the idea of adding frosting (we can't get frosting in a can here :( ). Thank you for linking up to Tuesday Tots and just to let you know I will be featuring this as one of the posts this week on Rainy Day Mum.
